This program focuses on students who have recently arrived to the United States and are English Language Learners (ELL). Typically, these students are learning the English language in addition to his or her native language. This can be challenging to students who are unable to communicate fluently or learn effectively in English, who often come from non-English speaking homes and backgrounds, and who typically require specialized or modified instruction in both the English language and their academic courses.

The Councilmatic After- School program provides an enriching environment for students to receive individual and group assistance with homework and other educational activities including test prep and studying tips.
