SENIOR PROGRAMS
Queensview/North Queensview NORC
A NORC is an apartment building or housing complex in which a large segment of the residents are over 60. A NORC program empowers their residents by fostering resident participation and involvement in the development and implementation of beneficial programming.
Our NORC program provides access to health and social services to residents within the building or building complex that they reside in. For the last 25 years, through funding from NYC Aging (NYC Department for the Aging), a wide range of services have been provided to the residents of Queensview and North Queensview NORC, including nutrition, health and wellness workshops, fitness and exercise classes, education and recreation services, medical prescription costs, food stamps, isolation, and mental health issues.
