The HANAC Astoria Beacon, which is funded by the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) services 1050 participants a year from ages 6 and up. Programming is designed to assist participants acquire the skills and attitudes they need to graduate from high school, succeed in their chosen career, and give back to the community.

HANAC's COMPASS Elementary School Programs, primarily funded by NYC Department for Youth and Community Development (DYCD), follow a holistic approach that results in an engaging 21st century based program offering ample opportunity for youth to explore their interests and creativity.

This program focuses on students who have recently arrived to the United States and are English Language Learners (ELL). Typically, these students are learning the English language in addition to his or her native language.

The HANAC Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) exposes teens and young adults to real life work experiences and to real world labor expectations while building work readiness skills and a foundation for future employability. The Work, Learn and Grow Youth Employment Program is funded by NYC Department for Youth and Community Development (DYCD).
