Wednesday                       11am-7pm

This program is funded by The New York State Department of Education and is a reform initiative intended to close the gap in low income communities where there is a large number of individuals and families who require and seek assistance with literacy and English language proficiency.

Services include:

  • Assessment of community’s needs
  • Case management to identify individual’s or family’s needs and follow up to ensure goals are met
  • Resume preparation
  • Assistance with job placement
  • Access to computer lab for conducting research, writing resumes, job readiness training, applying for employment and High School Equivalency preparation
  • Referrals to adult education classes, assistance with entitlements, housing, SNAP, and unemployment assistance, referrals to immigration services, health and financial assistance programs, post-secondary education, and professional training
